Red Eye at Tsukiji

Japan - Red Eye at Tsukiji - DSC_0049.jpg

This picture dates back to 2006 when I was in Japan and visited the world's biggest fish market in the early hours of the morning followed by the finest sushi I have eaten for breakfast.

It is an incredible place to be able to walk around as fishermen, traders and buyers trade in millions and millions of pounds worth of fish every morning. Unfortunately they are in the process of relocating this famous market and the area open to tourists will reduce to only a quarter of the current area.

Photography is my passion. I love being outside, camera set up, waiting on the first light of the day.
