A Morlich Morning

It's been a couple of weeks since I was last out with my camera and I have also had a bit of time away from Lightroom and the backlog of photographs I need to work on.

This photograph was taken during a short trip to the Cairngorms over the festive period and I arrived at Loch Morlich in advance of sunrise hoping for some colour in the sky, a few of scattered clouds and a nice reflection in the still water.

Instead I was presented with strong winds, some hefty waves and I spent my time fighting to keep my camera dry from the spray coming off of the rocks. Needless to say there was no colour.

I came away with a couple of long exposure photographs focusing on the different rock formations that line the bank of the loch.
