Sunrise at Cocklawburn
For the first time in number of weeks the weather was looking dry and together with a high tide on the east coast meant an early morning rise to go to Cocklawburn in Northumberland for sunrise.
We arrived 45 minutes before sunrise and with the wellies on it was into the sea and among the waves looking for compositions as the tide continued to come in.
There wasn't a great deal of light but as the sun rose above the horizon we did get 5 or 10 minutes of colour and light before it disappeared behind the clouds and out of sight.
