Into the Ocean

I visited the Faroe Islands last month with my wife and spent a week traveling around the archipelago covering as many of the 18 islands as we could.

This photograph is my take on the frequently shot waterfall at Gásadalur which drops several hundred feet into the ocean.

On the day we visited the location the rain showers whilst short we frequent making conditions tricky, particularly when taking long exposures.

While more interest in the sky would have been nice you can't have everything and I'm pleased to have come home with something given the conditions and the time I had available.

Photography is my passion. I love being outside, camera set up, waiting on the first light of the day.
