Silhouette at Sunrise

After many weekends of poor weather I ventured out to Knapps Loch last Sunday in the hope of a little colour in the sky at sunrise.

I had been walking back and forth from a number of potential spots and was all set to pack up and head home when from nowhere a little colour appeared in the sky lighting up the few clouds.

It's not my finest photograph but it was nice all the same and given only my second visit to the Loch it was nice to get a better hand on the better locations for a good sunrise.

I could have spend more time in Lightroom and Photoshop bringing out more detail in the trees and land on the farside of the loch but I felt it worked better as an image the way I have presented it.
