A Buttermere Tree

Keen to get a nice photograph at Buttermere I sought the Buttermere Tree that I so frequently came across when researching the area.

I spent over an hour waiting for the fog to clear but alas this was the best I could get before I had to move on.

I'm not even sure it's the right tree.
