Derwent Pier

Derwent Pier late in the afternoon, photographed yesterday on my first trip to The Lakes since I was a child.

The weather was glorious, the water was still and the snow capped peak of Skiddaw in the distance.

This is the first photograph posted from the day and I'm looking forward to working on and sharing some of the others.
