Big Ben

I was recently in London for a long weekend and had the opportunity to spend an afternoon (yes just one) taking photographs.

I arrived into Waterloo at lunchtime on the Friday and made by way down to the banks of the Thames where I spent the afternoon walking up and down taking photographs.

The light and sky weren't ideal and unfortunately there were a number of boats moored in the middle of the Thames and bobbing up and down ever so slightly which made for poor long exposure photographs.

This was taken on the South side of the river beside Westminster Bridge. At the time I was there a darker cloud appeared in the sky to add some interest.
