Long View

Stepping out on to the old stone pier at Kinlochard.

This was taken last weekend when I made an early morning visit to Loch Ard. The alarm went off at 4.15am and although the forecast predicted heavy rain showers I forced myself up and out the door.

Thankfully there wasn't a drop of rain in sight but by the time I took this the sun was quite strong was creating a bit of a problem during the long exposure.

I have been working on this photograph all week and I think I am finally happy with it although I might try a colour version of it sometime.

Photography is my passion. I love being outside, camera set up, waiting on the first light of the day.
