Uncharted Fields

Traveling around Iceland's Golden Circle, we stopped at a plateau during a break in a snow shower.

Looking out to the distant mountains, the fields lay uncharted under a covering of deep snow. The landscape was vast, peaceful and truly beautiful.

There were a number people roaming around this small area but I was pleased to find this spot free of footprints with a small volcanic rock wall to help frame the shot.

Photography is my passion. I love being outside, camera set up, waiting on the first light of the day.
