Three Peaks

It has been a while since I last published anything in this journal but it is a new year and my intention is to share new work here in the first instance.

This set of images has been sitting in Lightroom for some time now as I mull over the edits I have made to them and whether they will benefit from further adjustments.

The middle photograph I have published before, well similar, in colour. However, focussing on square black and white work now I felt that I should revisit the shot and see how well it works.

The bold dark lines highlighting the shape of the heap and the peak, with a a snow covering on the ground leaving enough detail and interest.
