White Gloves

We came across this gentlemen in Lijiang putting his white gloves back on and preparing to take his load of cardboard to the recycling centre.

Lijiang is a UNESCO heritage site in Yunnan Province in China and the old town was badly damaged by an earthquake a number a years ago. Whilst the coverage on TV enabled it to be re-built the impact is that it has become more of a tourist attraction - albeit mainly Chinese tourists. We only saw two other westerners there during a short visit.
