Beacon of Light

Staying on the Suffolk coast but moving slightly north this week to Southwold.

The pier at Southwold was the location of the first sunrise visit of my trip and this was taken very shortly at 5am.

On the northern side of the pier are these big bold rocks leading out in to the water with the pier set behind it. The tide was on the way out and I took a number of photographs with different patterns as the waves splashed against the rocks.
