The Clearing

Since the turn of the year I have been making a concerted effort to work on, and share new images. Due to various reasons I have not had many outings with the camera, but it has given me the opportunity to dive into my archives.

These three images come from a hike last year when weather conditions unexpectedly changed, good for photography, less so if you were hoping to enjoy the beautiful views.

I enjoy getting into the hills but am certainly not a mountain photographer. However, a change in setup a couple of years ago has resulted in a signficant weight saving so I am more inclinded to take my camera when it is not a strenuous walk.

In this instance I am glad I did and I think I have a small series of images which compliment each other nicely, and may end up in a short book.
