Christmas Charity Prints
Over the last couple years I have sold prints at Christmas in support of food banks, those in poverty, and homelessness.
This year I decided to offer a selection of 12 prints for a final time and was blown away by the response. Over the course of 5 weeks I sold nearly 350 prints and with some generous donations raised over £11,000.
The money has been donated to Action for Children who help children around the UK, and the Lidya Hope Foundation, an organisation co-founded by a friend and colleague, who offer a safe and supportive environment for orphaned children in Tanzania.
Supporting my friends Foundation has been a key focus for me this Christmas as I can see how much every single penny means to them, and how far it goes to meeting their goals of helping to provide the children at the orphanage with a home, food, an education, and the opportunity of a better future.
The money donated will enable the Foundation to…
Complete the construction of the pre-school,
Fully equip the pre-school classrooms with all the furniture they need and
Lay the foundations for the primary classrooms which they are now fundraising for, saving them over £2,000 in Government fees next year.
To support the Foundation’s work going forward, I am now offering Charity Prints year round with every penny going to support the fantastic work they do.
I am also donating at least 50% from all other print sales to them if you are interested in one of my Limited Edition Prints, and to ensure as much as possible is donated I will continue to cover all the printing costs.
Thank you all for your support, it means so much to me.
